Doorway Reflection(s)
We were heading for our midday outing with our friends Ann and Charley from London, when I assembled them and Marylee just outside the door of our apartment building. (With hindsight, it might have been a slightly cleaner shot if I'd placed them just inside, but...)
As it is there are a certain number of extra faint reflections--clearest perhaps are the wooden mailboxes ornamenting Charley's jacket. I did three versions, and chose the one with the slightly bemused woman peeking in. (View her large.) My best in this location is here, with very vivid reflections. Another hints at a narrative.
We visited the Pinacotèque de Paris; Ann and Charley saw the superb German Expressionism show which we had seen last month, and we went to the exhibition on Jade Masks of the Mayas--also excellent. (The Pinacotèque de Paris is a relatively new institution, which has a permanent collection of paintings, and space for three concurrent exhibitions (not inexpensive, especially if you attend more than one).
