Energy Smart?

'Energy Smart' is the name of this gizmo from British Gas. It's supposed to help you cut your fuel bills! What it actually does, is to encourage marital strife as you keep shouting at each other to turn things off. As a side effect, when everyone gets one and cuts their power consumption, British Gas profits drop and so they put their prices up. So who is 'Energy Smart' then?
