Man-Made Rain

Went to the city this morning with Paulo - he then headed off to Almeria and me back to the pueblo....boo.

Anyhow, my bus journey was somewhat punctuated with the activity of the firemen in the sky.
There was a small fire visible on the other side of the valley that the first chopper seemed to put out in one dump of water. The choppers then continued, working in tandem, on another fire somewhere over the back of Paulo's mountain.

For nearly two hours they swooped down to the river (by the dam) then back up over the mountain to dump the new fresh load of water. Each time they passed above our village they scattered a fresh sprinkle of man-made rain.

Here's hoping that everyone is ok.
