Getting comfortable

The chicks turn 3 weeks old tomorrow. They're getting pretty comfortable with me now, as you can see. They know I bring the food and the water so when I come near them they bolt from mama (who is usually scratching around for bugs to give them) and swarm around me, expecting food. They've taken to nibbling my toes and jumping onto the tops of my feet and scratching, as though it will somehow produce little grubs. This particular chick wasn't the only one interested in my camera at this moment--there was another one actually perched on top of the lens when I snapped the shot. I blame her for the catawampus angle.
