Lovebirds

Evidently...from what I can gather...these two terns missed the memo of when Valentines Day was. They are 12 days late.

The male is practically swooning over the female. "Honey...you look as lovely as the day we met. Remember...that wave rolled in...you got soaked...and I cackled until I rolled over? Your feathers are still pristine, and those wings...those wings still drive me crazy!!!

She coos back..."Keep talking...my big strong birdie-man. Better yet...quit talking, and give me a hug. Surround me with your wing span."

Their children are right behind them, and obviously have mixed feelings about public displays of affection. The 2 young males can't stand to watch, and have their heads turned. " Tell us when you're done...please! This is so embarrassing."

The daughter to the left is proud of mom and pop. "I just think it's so special that they are still in love, and not afraid to show it."

Next year...maybe they will pay better attention to the calendar.
