Phase III.....

of the Whirling Dervish Teapots!!!

Had a fabulous day in the studio....i mostly always love being in the studio, whether it's doing production or whatever...but it is a very different and wonderful feeling, exploring new territory!!! Here are the 4 teapots i put together today!!! Great time figuring out when each element could be attached, and all the various aspects of how they fit together. If you check out my blog there are a bunch of images recording the various stages i went through!

Tomorrw i'll be able to put the base on and the handle. I'll also throw the lids that will hopefully fit snugly inside that top piece! What a thrill to see the first stage almost completed! There are still a few hurdles to cross....like how the hell will i glaze them....they are quite tall...almost 18"! They will shrink somewhat...abut 12%...but still pretty tall for a teapot i reckon!!!

time to get dinner on and maybe watch a bit of the Oscars!!!
