ups and downs

early rising for me
while my lass got her desearved lie-in
then off to see great grandpa, settling in to his new room, although who knows whether for a couple of weeks or a little more
love to get to take the kids, and they still managed to get themselves a treat!
stayed a little late to get home for lunch
so pub lunch
all going so well until alice fought me over who would hold onto the ice cream bowl she was sharing with hannah, until she was so stubbornly upset that she "didn't want ice cream" and screamed the place down
off to granny and grandpas on the way home to cheer up
giggles and games
a little bit of the football
then finally home
a little bit more of the football
whilst alice got upset again about something... and then fell asleep on the floor
then all to bed...
me too!

hannah just watched on bemused.
