Cool Dog!

Today we had three tasks to complete.
1.Eli came home with some recipes she wanted to try out, so this morning was spent preparing the dishes for our evening meal.Nothing exciting there, other than the fact that the soup took enough lettuce to feed the entire rabbit population.
2. After a lunch of crepes(another special request!!)we took the dogs to Hamsterley Forest for a good run.The weather wasn't great but at least it stayed dry.Bella loves to investigate but doesn't yet have the courage to wander far away from us.However, she doesn't realise her speed or weight and on a couple of occasions when she gathered momentum, we almost lost her over sheer drops.She really doesn't have much up top!!When Tyler sees her coming, he usually stands still , cowers and closes his eyes, as Bella the tornado whooshes over the top of him, unable to control herself.Here we have Tyler getting his reward, as did Bella - a nice cool icecream cone.They just love it.
3. On our return we had our three course meal before running Lisey back up to Durham to catch the train back to Scotland.She was fortunate to get a deal on first class travel and is revelling in the freebies! She text to say she was full to capacity after her dinner but her bag had a yawning cavity which she was rapidly filling! A girl after my own heart.
We are going to miss you Lisey.You are a real breath of fresh air in our lives.Hurry back.
