Anthony Gormley Statue No 1

I love these statues - there are 6 of them at various points along the Water of Leith and this is the first one - it gazes out across the water at the end of a dilapidated pier. Seemed to lend itself to a black and white shot. The whole series is called 6 Times.

I wish I had a super duper lens so I could have got closer in but maybe the distance helps with the feel of the picture.

I want to blip all 6 of them eventually but 2 of them have fallen over at the moment due to the recent floods - the statues are designed to fall over when the water of leith is flooding.
