iCake 6.0

Today we have been to the in-laws in Lincolnshire as it is my father-in-law's 60th on Leap Day and he will be away in Edinburgh starting his new job tomorrow.

I got up early this morning to decorate the cake and make some chocolate cupcakes for the non fruit cake lovers! I was really pleased how the iCake 6.0 came out and so was my father-in-law! Phew! We had the cakes when we got there and my father-in-law didn't want to cut it! He is taking the rest of it with him to Scotland tonight to take to work on Leap Day!

We had a lovely day there - the weather has been good and quite a few members of the family were there too. Two pairs of aunts and uncles and two brothers and one with a girlfriend too so there were 13 of us when we went out for lunch! It was really funny at one point cos all the older ones were sat there on their mobiles while the younger ones were chatting!

Today has been a good day emotionally too for both of us which is great. Trying not to think too much about work tomorrow and going to chill out tonight.
