Beautiful Dawn in Washington, DC

- I drove near DC on Saturday to get pictures of the skyline at dawn. Unfortunately I did not plan properly as I arrived at 6:30 a.m. and the sun was already coming up and the lights to the monuments were out.

So I went out again this morning and had the tripod setup at 6:05 a.m. I was able to snap two pictures and the National Park Service turned off the lights to the Washington monument. The photo here is the second picture.

I got lots of other great pictures even though the Washington monument lights were out and stayed to see one of the one of the prettiest sunrises that I have ever seen (at least in the DC area).
