Bogies

Woke up early, saw the sun was sparkling and decided it was definitely a morning to dust off the clubs and head for the Thornbury par 3.

Not sure I've ever enjoyed a game so much. It's a lovely course anyway, but early this morning it was so tranquil, no one about. Glorious views over the Severn which was smothered in mist during the first few holes.

Went round in 70 which isn't so bad considering it was the first round for 6 months. Left knee which is 4 months post op, won't allow me to swing freely, bit of a hindrance. Oh and I've just noticed my first knee op was a year ago today. How time flies.

So, home for lunch after which, I have loads of marking to do. Trying not to let it make me angry, can't remember the last weekend I didn't have to work.

It's official, teaching is horse shite.
