I Travel

....to the Barrowlands.

Was back at the Barrowlands tonight to see Simple Minds. To be honest when (Big) Alex first mentioned it I was meh... but when he said five tracks of the first five albums at the Barrowlands it was a different thing altogether. After several tries on the Ticketmaster website (Pearl Jam were right about this mob...) we got ourselves a pair.

It was absolutely brilliant; started off with I Travel and in there were songs like Celebrate, Love Song, the American, Themes For Great Cities, Chelsea Girl, Life In A Day played to a very receptive and animated crowd. After going to gigs for over 30 years you get to knowing when a band are up for it and when they are there to pick up the cheque early on. This lot were up for it. Great night.
