This piece is gradually getting under the fingers. Eagle-eyed viewers will notice the modulation on page 2 as the music returns from the B section.

Incandescent WB, screw-in close-up filter & manual focus has combined to achieve an acceptable detail shot.

Ideally, what this needs is an 81 series graduated filter mounted vertically; this would counteract the blue cast on the left-hand page, which is caused by the influence of natural light coming in from the window. Either that or no artificial lights, a tripod and shady WB.
