Roberts

This is one of two Roberts radios we have. We've had this one a while now. It used to live in the kitchen at our first house but now lives in our bedroom.

I took the car to work today so I could be home early. L was leaving for her Butlins weekend pretty early on so I'd be picking the kids up from Grandma's. There was a bit of stress for Alana. I told them not to bother with tea as we were going to have pizza but Grandma was planning on fish and chips. Alana was looking forward to pizza but how could she miss out on fish and chips! In the end I said we could do pizza on Saturday which meant there was no missing out.

The good thing about having the car is that I could bring home a monitor I had bought off a guy at work. It's huge compared to what I've currently got and I'm very pleased with it.

Watched Captain America with the kids which was predictable but enjoyable. I like a good super hero movie. As L was away we all slept in the same bed. A cynic may think that the reason for this is so I don't have to make the kids' beds tomorrow!
