25/29 colour
These are most of the scarves we own. I did make a pretty lollipop land picture, but Ben and I had so much fun just strewing all the colourful scarves everywhere that this became the blip! Crazy that I have so many scarves, I rarely if ever actually wear them but they are great fun to play with. Charley seemed to like being the centre of attention, and Steve was happy being left to watch the England/Wales game so everyone was happy!
Ben earned himself a "star of the week" certificate at swimming this morning. Considering he's not been to swimming lessons for around 6 months or so, he did amazingly well. Better than some of the others in the class! He's jumped a couple of levels too (basically the levels that he has missed over the last six months). What a kid. He LOVES swimming, I'm so glad we're back swimming again! Gutted we're gonna miss next week's lesson as we'll be in Manchester sorting boxes, but after that hopefully no more missed lessons.
Unfortunately I'll be going back tomorrow with Charley! He wanted to go to sleep. He did not want a nappy change into a swim nappy. He was NOT interested in water. He was very glad when he went back in his car seat and fell asleep without a grumble once we were back in the car! So, we'll try again tomorrow. Lucy the teacher didn't want his first lesson to be engrained as a bad experience!
Home again: got the rugby going on the laptop, Toy Story on the tv, scarves all over the floor, and nutella mug cakes in our tummies :D Thanks SweetDustyBones for that link!
