That'll be 500 then. Cool!

Got to 365 and thought I'd have a rest - that never quite happened.

This wonderful website continues to crave my attention every day. Thanks to Joe and the team for creating and maintaining it - without them none of us would be doing something we've all grown to love.

500 pictures then and a real rollercoaster of a ride. A small fortune on new camera gear, pictures published in newspapers and magazines, three months of images and stories from India, a three week US road trip, and most memorably receiving moving and meaningful support when my father passed away in April. All part of the blip experience.

500 pictures of what then?

Well they include: 9 gigs, 4 plates of food, 1 wedding, 38 black and white, 14 sunsets (a blip staple), 3 sunrises, 3 breakfasts (all full english), 2 Taj Mahals, 6 of me (less of that please), 1 lightning bolt, 1 bloke on a horse, 1 of men with big balloons, 12 of alcohol (more of that please), 1 car park, 8 insects or bugs (another blip staple), 2 airports, 1 forged passport with a picture of Brad Pitt, 2 swans, 3 of the singer Duffy, 5 of water droplets on windows, 2 dandelions, 1 headless rabbit and 1 x 1p CD from Leon off the X-Factor.

I wonder what the next 500 will be of.....
