snow berries...

...blown into the yard

really i've no idea what these are... i made up that they're snow berries - i don't know what snow berries are - or if they even exist - if they're real at all... shame on me... i've told you before - i have a tendency to make things up... boo!

with all the very strong and billowing winds we've been having lately - strange items have been showing up in the yard... half a frisbee landed the other day - who would keep half a frisbee? not like you could throw it - or play with it, right... but there it was... then the trash cans decided to do a very special ballet - twisting and turning with each other across the lawn... very entertaining, yet annoying with the ruckus created.

of course - seeing these little berries - blown in from a neighboring house - which really aren't berries at all - but looking luscious against the pristine whiteness of the snow... there was no turning away from them - they were calling to me to show them off... give them their due. you know me - i cannot refuse a request - that makes for...
