Ye Olde Shambles

Today I took advantage of an empty Shambles and take a picture on the way to work, at 9 'o' clock this morning. I thought, for a change, I would be the tourist!

This is one of my favourite streets in York. It has so much character and history all tangled up in its uneven, rickety buildings, each of which tell a story. I really am lucky to have been able to study here and now live here.
