Fluffy Clematis seed head

Another lovely spring-like day. Had a lie in and finished my book to the sound of the birds outside.

Walked up to the local shops for some bread for lunch. Decided to go and look at curtains so we can finish off the front room. Still not sure we've seen the right ones and can't quite believe how expensive they might be if we buy them made-to-measure. I've made all the other curtains in the house before.

Had a tour round the garden while the sun was out. These clematis seed heads are still hanging on - this was a yellow clematis that we planted last year to climb over our new plastic shed. There are new shoots on it already.
