SIZERGH CASTLE, CUMBRIA

Went for a drive over the border today to look for the Hawfinch at Sizergh Castle. But they were in hiding.

To compensate we bought a hunk of Colston Bassett Stilton, some creamy Cornish Brie and oatcakes at the farm shop. I am looking forward to that after dinner tonight.

We then went to Leighton Moss and saw 3 Snow Geese, and the Glossy Ibis which has been there for quite a while now.

Oops, think we've just lost the rugby to Wales. Definitley a quiet night in with the cheese then!
