Lifelink Mission

We had a missions conference at our church today.

The topics were harrowing: poverty, ravages of war, trade exploitation and human trafficking.

There are a lot of very dedicated people working on projects to address some of these issues and the message seems to be 'however small the contribution you can make is better than doing nothing at all'.

There was a beautiful display of arts and crafts from the various countries we help to support: very colourful scarves, bags, jewellery and artwork.

I particularly liked the elephant.
