Nymans

This is part of the ruin of Nymans - a country house near Horsham renovated in the Gothic style in 1915 and largely destroyed by a fire in 1947. The house and its gardens are now owned by the National Trust.

Went into town this morning but as Paula was going off to meet a friend for lunch, I decided to take my camera over to Nymans for a wander round. It was like a summer's day - can hardly believe it is February. Bought a couple of books from the second-hand book shed and had tea and a scone (as you do).

There are a few more shots of the house and gardens here. Noticed that they will be having a jazz concert on the lawn with sparkling wine and canapes in May on my birthday. Will be dropping a few heavy hints that this might be a nice way to celebrate.
