Nerf Warfare

This is a picture of Adrian on his way to a children's party where they were celebrating the the invention of the Nerf gun. It's a simple, somewhat clunky contraption that shoots foam darts. I don't mind them because they don't require batteries and the kids run around the park hiding behind trees perfecting their guerilla warfare tactics. Of course the guns get bigger and bigger and the latest one would be about 60 cm long. I've told Adrian it's a definite 'no' and he can discuss my decision with a therapist in 30 years time. Unfortunately I spent the day in hospital with Liam and had to leave the boys with friends.However, I was determined to blip today and this photo was taken just before I left to take Liam to the hospital. I'm really pleased withe photo as it captures his personality and his great excitement whenever he's going to a party.
