Cake

Not my birthday but this is a copy of Pauls first ever birthday cake which his mum did for his 40th birthday. I think it's possibly this that cemented his love of Victoria sponge.

My first birthday cake (certainly that I remember anyway) was for my 21st - bought by my work at the time. It was a massive chocolate costco affair. The only other time before that I remember anything close to a birthday cake was mum making eves pudding (my full first name is Lyn-eve). I'd rather of had cake so to this day still don't like Eve's pudding.

Also today I looked awesome. It's not often I'll say that!
