The goat of Mendes
Everyday is so different from the previous, how can life be boring?
Yesterday an art exhibition and today, a cycle in the heat and strong wind, to the foot of the Qorna Mountain to see a friend.
She lives a very quiet life and makes no bones about preferring animals to humans :-) Her days are spent caring and loving her donkey, cats, rabbits, chickens, dog and her goats.
I do love the goats here, they make me laugh with their long ears, crazy hairstyles and funny trot! These ladies were a little bit wary of me, but not at all camera shy :-)
'Ptah, the Egyptian God of magic, wisdom and knowledge, became the goat and sometimes 'The Ram' in the City of Mendes where he was worshipped as such. The goat/ram represents the 'Ba' which is the Egyptian word for 'Soul''
