The sun does so many things; Many of them are absolutely essential to our survival, but sometimes it does things just to make the world a little more beautiful. Here in Texas the sun can get a bad rap, but I am at least thankful for all of the wonderful things it does for us

...Clearly I'm in an extremely cheerful mood today, having discovered that my blip from two days ago got staff picked. That's pretty funny because I was on the phone with a friend shortly before taking that shot on Wednesday, and she said I should pursue photography throughout my life because I am pretty good; and I was humbly laughing at the compliment in a joking manner, but as of now I suppose she does have a point...
