On the Big Ice Floe in the Sky

I found out today that Kenda , the polar bear at the Ecotarium, died over the summer. Although I have a hard time with zoos and the fact that this animal spent her entire life in one enclosure, I was still quite sad and in a bit of a funk during the rest of our visit. Farewell, Kenda.
