Wall of confusion

This has appeared on a house in one of the villages! I thought at first Olympic feaver had made it this far north! Then I looked again 1952 - 2012 = 60yrs apart from the fact it marks me attaining the dreaded 60, ( I don't mind really) , or the monarch's rien. On the Olympic rings front the games were held in Helsinky in 1952?
I am lost so I am off to catch up on your journals, take care one and all ;¬)
