Room With A View

This is the view from our hotel window, we both know the Greenbank Hotel well and were fortunate to win a nights stay in one of the numerous Christmas raffles we entered. Anyway with the help of our very lovely friends and Briony's mum Clare and I are 'unwinding'.

Tonight is very much like an old fashioned 'Run Ashore', I cannot remember when I last consumed this amount of alcohol and remained standing, 35 years in the Mob obviously prepared me well.

But I am with the light of my life, relaxing, bumping our gums and enjoying each others company and having a laugh. In difficult days it's good to look at what's good in your life and enjoy it. Exeter v Bath tomorrow so another day of good stuff to come -- but it won't be better than tonight!!!
