Winter Blip
Today was a glorious day and the weather reached a scorching ten degrees. I know ten degrees isn't really too warm but given that a few weeks ago it was minus 20, it felt positively tropical.
So we took a day off from snowboarding and went a little hike, ending with some lunch al fresco. It was a lovely, lovely day and the camera just doesn't do this view justice. If you look to my left, you look down a huge valley to the Pacific Ocean. And to my right, you look up the valley to Whistler. Amazing.
It was also a very deceptive day. This is not really spring but a blip in winter. The snow will return in a few days! But until then, we shall enjoy the rays and get some vitamin D.
