Animal, Vegetable or...?

A really good day today. Went to the Hockney exhibition at the RA with brother-and-sister-in-law (good, close friends as well as rellies). The Exhibition was fascinating, particularly his charcoal drawings. He was an excellent draughtsman. On the way to lunch we walked past the Halcyon Gallery, of which I'd never even heard, and inside was an exhibition of glassware, including this amazing "thing".

Lunch was good too, and we pigged out (!) on a cup of tea (cream teas were eye-wateringly expensive) at Fortnums afterwards. Back to penury for a week or three now while the plastic recovers!
