Oooops!

I started another series of sewing lessons today - this time we're making cushions, which will incorporate learning new skills (for me, anyway) like putting in zips and buttonholes so it's very exciting!

Today we started with a simple 'envelope' design cushion-cover but to jazz it up we could include an appliqué picture on the front. As my material was cake-related, I decided to appliqué the word 'Yum'.

As you can see, my first attempt went slightly wrong (and I have to admit 'measuring' isn't my strong point, either) but I'm pleased to say I got there in the end!
