Through the Glass
So today, we went to Twycross Zoo, Me and Vicky wanted to do something as we've been together 10 years today, we was going to do something, just the two of us, something special, something nice... but the problem was that we couldnt decide what to do and as usual we both started to get niggly with each other!!!
so when we got up today we decided that after dropping Joel of at my moms we would decide what to do - Well i phoned my mom to say we were on our way, and then about 2 minutes later i phoned again to say that we wasn't on our way because we didn't want to give Joel up for the day and that our first ever family zoo adventure was on the cards!!!!
so to the zoo we went, although we had a fun day, ive got to be honest, the staff didnt have a clue what they were doing,.. we could of walked right in for free because there wasnt anybody at the turnstile, but we didnt, we found a member of staff who told us we had to pay in the shop part because the computerised till had gone down at the turnstiles...
o and before this, we didnt know where to park as there were no signs and the main carpark seemed full,, so we just dumped the car in the middle.. by the time we came back to the car, everybody else had done the same..
the penguin feeding time had almost finished by the time we got there as it had started early
and when we went for luch, it was utter caos!!! the staff didnt have a clue, the public didnt have a clue where to cue or pay for anything, it was just a shambles and we couldnt find a high chair for joel..
O well, we still had a good time and we brought Joel a big monkey to hand up in his room!!
we also then went for a frankie and bennys - a nice steak was consumed...
..........................................................................
This photo hasn't been cropped!!! it was taken through the glass, The beautiful leopard was pacing up and down and then it stopped and just sat there looking out the window, i stayed for a couple of minutes BUT it wouldnt look at me not once, even with me this close with my camera pointing straight into the eyes, it wouldnt make eye contact...
I felt sorry for him/her, having to put up with people like me !!!!
