Girl In The Photograph

My friend and I had a trip to the coast today hoping for a repeat of yesterday's warm sunshine. As you can see it was a little more windswept today, and damn chilly. Still, we made the most of it and sat in the car and ate a picnic that she'd prepared for us in the hope that we could sit on the beach.
As we were eating we looked out of the car and saw a flock of seagulls watching us patiently with the expectation of a free meal of our scraps. Have to say that we didn't leave much but a van in front of us, full of builders, had finished their fill of chips so fed the suddenly swarming birds. It was rather fun watching them squabble over the scraps and even catch thrown chips on the wing.
Oh well, lets hope for some better weather soon.
