My first attempt at ceramics.

In the school holidays, where rain was punctuated with illness, the highlight was the ceramics sessions that the boys and I attended. Here is one of my attempts, carrying on with the theme of Russian Dolls ) from my sewing). I was quite pleased with it.

It's been a strange week at work. My wonderful boss (mentioned in my last blip) was burnt in an accident at her home involving a wood burning stove. It was severe enough for her to be in hospital for three days. She suffered burns on her face, neck, chest and hands. We don't know what scaring she will be left with. Hopefully she won't have long lasting damage. As a result I have been given the rôle of conducting the cardboard orchestra's performance of Peter and the Wolf when they perform for the parents.
