Well, I guess these buildings would be pretty drab without Frankenstein's monster staring at passers-by in his green glory (or should that be gory?)

I've blipped before about my mixed feelings over Bristol's street art, but I have to say some of it is pretty spectacular work.

Meanwhile, 50 miles up the motorway, the powers-that-be in Cheltenham are outraged about graffiti you would barely notice.

They need to come and stay here for a while. There's so much graffiti, the artists return every few weeks or so to paint elaborate new designs over equally intricate old ones.

It would be interesting to see how Cheltenham would cope with that!
