Reflections
Today I was in Glasgow with a friend, and we walked along the River Clyde to the SECC. It was a lovely day, sunny, a bit windy, and a bit cold, and we really enjoyed the change from the dull days of late. We visited the St. Andrews Cathedral on Clydeside to see the Peter Howson painting 'St. John Ogilvie', and also to see the new Memorial Garden, which is dedicated to Italian Internees of the second world war, who were being shipped to Canada, but were torpedoed; more than 400 lost their lives.
We finished our walk at the Peoples Palace on Glasgow Green. Super day.
I like reflections, whether on lochs, lakes, puddles (I have taken quite a few in puddles) or glass. This is the St. Andrews Cathedral reflected in the glass fronted building next door.
