View from Finz restaurant at Aanuka Resort

After a lovely breakfast in Finz we decided to take a short drive south to Urunga, a small village which is situated where the Kalang and Bellinger rivers join up and flow into the Pacific ocean.
We walked along the river flatssection of river flats and then discovered that there was a raised boardwalk which went out over the lagoon area, over mangroves and salt marshes, right around the point and then further on to the beach front.Boardwalk
It was a beautiful and interesting walk.
Afterwards we had lunch in a nice old pub which was built in 1927.Urunga pub
We drove back to the resort and had anice walk along the beachBeach at Aanuka looking south

Resort Pool If you have a look at the pool link, look closely in the right bottom corner and you will see a Water Dragon sitting there. they are very friendly and rather cute.
