Renaissance man

I dropped in on my friend J. Musician, professional Opera singer, violinist, viola player, pianist and conductor. I've long subscribed to the view that someone who is truly talented will in fact be multi-talented. J is a good example.

It's great photographing a performer, there is no element of discomfort or being camera shy. Lots of patience when that second (or third) shot needs to be taken.

This is his music room. There is so much of his character and life in evidence that it was difficult to chose a focus and resist the temptation to cram it all in the frame.
The mask is one of the actual ones from the set of the film "Eyes Wide Shut" He was laughing hugely at the time of the photograph!
