Exciting

It may just look like ball of yarn to you but to me it is very exciting.

This is the first yarn I have bought for myself in a very long time and is for our mad March mitten along.

I'm making some fingerless gloves with a lovely fair isle type pattern which turns out gorgeous by the simple use of this Noro colour changing wool for the background and a lovely cream coloured plain wool for the detail. Never fear I shall blip both the work in progress and the finished article, there will hopefully be a matching tammy too.

It's a bit of a challenge as its a pattern I've not done before and I LOVE charts and colour work so I'm really looking forward to getting my teeth into it.
