Red Kite

I love visiting Oxford city, love the colleges, love the museums love visiting relatives, but most of all I just love watching the red kites that circle my sister in laws garden,
There are normally 2-3 sometimes 4 of them that just fly round looking for food. SIL always has always fed the wild birds and they seem to know when she puts the food out. all of their leftover dinners go on the birdtable!
The Red kites are chestnut red with white patches under their wings, they have a wing span of nearly 2 metres, so quite a big bird but their bodyweight is relatively small.
I have watched them for a long time now and I can recognise their call now :-)

I'm not sure if we get them on the IOW if we do I haven't seen any.
