The Final Step
Last night, or I should say this morning, was a long one for Loren. He was up til 1 am on a school night finishing his tri-fold presentation board for his 7th Grade Exhibition. He worked for hours on this and did an excellent job. We're thankful for my friend's Cricut machine he first borrowed last year for Exhibition as well. This is the final step of the Exhibition before he presents it to the panel of judges. He first started out picking a building, then went on a hunt to find the actual sizes of each piece of the building, then turned in a written reports on the Empire State Building that also showed his scaling/ratio he was going to use, then made the dimensions/calculations to scale, then picked up the building supplies, then build a 3-D model to scale that had to be no more than 1/8" off, then built and painted and textured the building, then turned that in and THEN set to work on THIS....the tri-fold presentation board. What a tedious project indeed. Should I have had to do this at his age, I might not have passed 7th grade! Whew!
