Glorious sunset sky
Towards the close of a remarkably mild and spring like day we were treated to a spectacular late afternoon sky. It quite outdid other worthy contenders for the blip, such as pussy willow catkins bursting open against a bright blue sky. Earlier in the day, at one particular point of the short walk, the small songbirds seemed to be ecstatic in their singing, a true sign of the approach of spring.
I had a surprising follow up e-mail to the job interview rejection earlier in the week - there may be hope for a better position than the one applied for. Although they do not have a specific vacancy right now, they seem prepared to try and find an opening for me. What a turn of events! I really don't know now what might happen next, so I'll watch this space......
