Paris Gare de Lyon

This was my final destination today. J and the girls flew back from Barcelona this afternoon (2 hours) but I took three trains (10 hours). It seemed like a good idea at the time. It would have been extremely expensive for me to fly back with them one-way... but two of the trains were locals (Barcelona-Cerbère, Cerbère-Montpellier) and took forever. The scenery was very pretty, at least, and I got lots of reading done.

There were clear blue skies until somewhere in the Massif Central when it started to cloud over and it was drizzling in Paris when I got off the train. It's still good to be back.
