What light does

This lampshade, when the light is switched off, is dark blue and green, with gold bits, but the blue vanishes when it's on. And yes, the weather is horrible today! My original idea had been to go to Charing Cross and take some more traffic trails, but as we come out the cinema we were finding it hard to stand upright, so I thought there might be one or two issues with keeping the camera steady and gave that idea up. Today was a two film day, first was Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, second was Man on a Ledge, both great films, especially the first. The second was very entertaining, but the first was very moving, and will stay with me for quite a while I think. Got very annoyed at Jessops though, when I went in to spend my birthday voucher, but the branch at Buchanan Galleries has not got enough staff and half of them don't have a clue, which doesn't make for a happy shopper. To be honest I knew that before, but when en route to Cineworld, other branches are rather out of the way.
