Box girder bridge

Had an unexpected escape inland to the countryside today as the alarm was malfunctioning up at the Cortijo, so i headed up to meet the technician.

I pass this old box girder bridge, left to rot since the road bypassed it for a modern wider bridge, each time on the way to the house - it's looks stunning in the evening light.

But I passed today at 3pm so the sun was high in the sky, making it less interesting but still the rust is extraordinary - so deep.

The landscape is very, very dry; it's now getting to be a problem.
