What a crock...
...of caca!
My day was almost as awful as this teabag tag's motto.
Weather? Dark mist was followed by pale mist which was replaced by dark mist.
Energy? Nope. Sorry forgotten what that is.
Family? Who?
Creativity? One flash fiction written. Hooray! (whether it's any good or not remains to be seen...)
Walk with camera/husband/dog? Nope/nope/nope
Progress through secret mission? Slow. Very slow. not looking good.
Overall assessment: Did something. Didn't do something else.
So another mug shot for today.
I'm not one for mottos at the best of times. But this one is diabolical:"I pray to be in the position to serve all"? What is this? Nuns' tea ?!
*checks box*
Crock - on the other hand is a great word. Lets have more mottos containing Crocks (& reclaim the word back from those awful plastic sandals + put the K back where it belongs)
Crock:
1. earthernware vessel,
2. metal pot,
3. a broken piece of earthenware,
4. an old ewe,
5. an old broken-down horse,
6. a weak or debilitated person,
7. a worn-out vehicle or ship, etc,
8. dirt/smut
9. to make dirty or grimy
10. to transfer colour/dye to something else
(Etc... there's more! It goes on and on!)
Crockard:
A coin current in the reign of Edward I
Crocked:
Intoxicated
Crocket:
A curl or decorative feature
Crockford:
A reference book for the clergy and the Church of England
*Gallops off on her crock, carrying her drinking crock and her crockard, with her crockets bouncing in the misty air to throw the Crockford to the crocodiles before she gets crocked*
The following day...
I've no idea why I kept spelling motto 'moto.' Must have lost the ploto. Anyway, have put it right now
