'Blue Remembered Hills'

On Morrow Edge, looking over Sunderland right to the sea it often looks purple or blue depending on the light (poor today, though with a strange reddish tint to the east)

I have to say I think it is air polution!

Woodpeckers drumming today, song thrushes singing before day break and lots of skylarks singing later
