Seeing eye to eye.

Stepped out of the back door and there he was, he just sat, staring. This blackbird in particular has become very bold over the last weeks regularly feeding from the cat's breakfast dish. (suppose it's easier and quicker than digging up worms!)
Had a busy morning being a domestic goddess, cleaning, washing, ironing, making bread - the joy of it all. In the middle of all this the Kindle arrived. Most impressed that it actually landed on the mat having been posted through the letter box. Managed to set it up and begin finding my way round so impressed myself.
Thankfully the weather remains dry though dull. We went the longer walk round the fields this afternoon and also spent some time trying to persuade the tup to let the geese get on with the food we took. Not very successful, he's a persistent beast!
It's heartening to see more and more signs of Spring, leaves in the hedgerows are now starting to come out. Looking forward to a few more outdoor activities.
